Tyre foam - does it work?

99% of what I can find on the success of using tyre foam to fix a puncture in a tubed tyre, says that it is a waste of time!  I have personally tried and/or witnessed about 10 incidents that confirms that it is a waste of space!

I don't know how to do a poll, so how about just a short:

a) It's rubbish!!!!
b) Maybe carry it as a last resort.
c) It works for me!!!!
