I'm planning a trip up into botswana, which is actually for work but we want to combine it with a bit of fun. I ride a dakar, and want to put on a new front tyre for the trip. The trip will be mostly (if possible all gravel) up to the border at Kasane, and then it will be tar road all the way back to the limpopo (this is where the work part comes in, so we have to chase back).
My question is now, which front tyre? without starting too much of a dabate between tyres, I have narrowed down to 2 options (due to availability where I stay).
Karoo 3 or T63?
