Valve cover gaskets leaking

Hey Guys,

After 103k km the valve cover gaskets have started leaking on my 07 Adventure... The front is worse than the rear but I will change both of them.

I just wanted to check, I've never put any sealant on them when doing valve clearances before but should I? Like a gasket maker or should the gaskets just go straight on dry?
