WANTED: Starter casing for 1150GS

I am posting this on behalf of a friend.

He is looking for a 99 1150GS starter casing. Will be a bonus if he can find a complete starter, but he can also transplant the wires into a new casing.

Can anyone tell me where he can find a second hand casing? BMW parts want to rip him a new one.
