Morning gents, I know its been a while but I was hoping some one could help.
Wile my replacement engine hopefully sits at the garage having lots of new shinny bits put in it, I thought I would tackle some old issues.
I have 10 broken spokes on my rear rim, I've phoned around and done a bit of googleing. I would still appreciate your opinions though, do I fork out the cash to relace the whole wheel or is it ok to just replace the broken ones.
That being said, stainless steel generic spokes seem to be pretty expensive ~1200 rand for a full set, any recommendations as to where one should be getting them from for an 18 inch rim. (cape town area)
After lots of cleaning and polishing have also found a crack through the lip of the rim, if I take it to be welded will I have to re coat the whole thing? What coating?
