Hi all,
Have the gravel gravel trip coming up and was going over my bike yesterday (no KTM dealers in Harare). Read in the owners manual that if there is less than 4.5 mm left on the pad you need to replace. I havent measured it but it looks borderline.
How ,amy kms do they normally last. I realise different riders different results but just a ballpark guestimate will do. I did my own 7500 km service and the bike now has 10900km on it and i have read here that guys change brake pads at the first service.
Also, how difficult is it to change, can i do it with the basic KTM tool kit? I might have to ask my fellow riders to bring me a set and change it on the trip! Does it required bleeding the brakes as then i will need to get brake fluid too.
