Caveat, I'm extremely noob when it comes to mechanics...

It seems that after the engine warms up a bit (say a 20-30km ride), if I stop it, and then try to start it again, it struggles to start. It cranks and everything, but just doesn't seem to start.
If I leave it for a while and come back to it, presumably "cold", it starts up straight away.

I recently changed the spark plug and battery. I did not "gap" the plug, but compared it by eye to the plug I removed and it seemed like the gap was the same. Perhaps that was a stupid thing to do and I should space it correctly? (0.8mm if i remember correctly).

Any other ideas appreciated. Thanks!
