XT500 carb rebuild?

Hi guys... looking for some advise on XT500 carb rebuild. I have a carb that spend too many years rotting in somebodies back garden and needs some TLC - it is on the bike and the bike runs intermittently - I have rinsed and cleaned with engine cleaner and replaced the jets and set the float but I suspect a good rebuild is what is required. Any advise on what more I could do, what products are available for deep clean decades old corrosion/crap buildup, or who I could take it to for a rebuild would be very much appreciated.
