Looking for a new tank for my xt600e.
Good bumped over by a ldv that did not stop at a stop street, quotes from yamaha have come in at just short of R20000.
Insurance claim is in, but the original tank is like R9500.
Thinking of going plastic and bigger, did anyone know where one can get locally, or is import only option.
Also think that the insurance might just write it off, as is a 2003 model, and I paid R38000 new then. If they do, will but it back from them, and turn it into a wheelie machine with bad ass attitude. Other than the clutch lever and left mirror it is rideable and legal. Only 18000km.
