Hi Fellow XTZ owners
I am seeking some advice regarding my GPS mounting on the bike. I had it both on the handle cross bar as well as the bar above the dials. I prefer the position on top of the dials as it is easier to navigate than looking down to the handlebars. I use my BMW NAV 5 which is basically a ZUMO 660 casing. I bought the Touratech alu GPS holder. Currently I have it fitted on top of the dials and the rattling noise is bad, especially with the Touratech mount empty.
Has anyone experience with this or have some advice:
Which is the best position?
Will the bar on top of the dials handle this for a long period of time (will be doing extensive travelling in next two months)? I also read on the forum of an AT owner complaining of a bracket that failed, but not sure if it can be compared.
Any advice are welcome.
