So after spending an entire day on this, I've decided Garmin software and the Zumo 660 really sucks! I'm about ready to throw this expensive, useless device out the nearest window! 
A few questions before I toss this:
I'm currently running SSA 2012.3 on Basecamp on my Mac. the 660 reflects this as 2012.1, no matter what I do - should this also reflect 2012.3? I alway get the popup saying "you don't have the same map version on your device, so figured it may be related to this?
The recalc is a nightmare. I create a route on basecamp, that looks perfect. Shows 260km's. I upload it, it recalcs and shows 840km's on the Zumo...
Either I'm doing something stupid or as per my first statement, this software just sucks... Any suggestions appreciated.
