The wife and I want to do another trip through Bots and into Zambia.
Can anyone confirm the rates for getting the bike across the borders?
The info I have is â?¦

Bots (Martins Drift)
Bike entry/road license P90 for a double entry
Insurance P20

Zim (Vic Falls Bridge Livingstone/Vic Falls)
Carbon Tax: R140
Toll Fee ?? R60
Insurance: R150

Zambia (Kazangula Ferry / Kasane )
Road Tax R250
Insurance R75

Kazangula Ferry P124 P2 per person

Ya Ya, I know you lads love your off road bikes, Iâ??ve gotta stick to tar.
What can anyone tell me about the Kazangula Ferry, how friendly is it for road bikes.
My old beemer is atrocious on anything other than blacktop.
Does anyone have photos taken around the ferry ?

One buddy considering the trip is worried the disinfectant sprays will damage her cruiser.
I got some spots of paintwork etched after last years trip.
Does anyone have some tricks to protect the chrome/paint ?
Maybe a good spray with WD40 or the like before we set off !!!

The plan at the moment is heading to Living stone via Kasane, possibly stop off for a day in Nata on the way back.
Iâ??ll be back with more questions as the plans start to gel.

Cheers
