Why yellow/orange head lamps?

Amber/yellow much more visible in the dust. Really. Not sure if it makes such a big difference in clear conditions on tar.

I have always had people that I ride with comment on how much more visible I am! If we ride far apart they can see the orange light instead of the other guys and their normal lights.

The moment I ut the orange cover on the bike I immediately noticed people see me right away and move over aspecially in nice clear weather on the tar because thats when all the cagers sit and stare at everything except their mirrors. Many others have told me that they see me comming a mile away already. It was that or a high vis vest...

Before my time indeed. I remember passing on a box of junk that I had aquired to a mate. When he found a couple of sets of new indicators in it, he called me a bastard! In those days we didn't agree with festooning a bike with yellow lights like a bloody Christmas tree!

Oh, and when I took my car drivers test, I had to wave my arms around out of the window. Using indicators was not allowed.

But I'm not old, and I'll moer the bastard who says I am!
