Hi guys,
I've just returned from a short ride where my bike was just not performing as it usually does. I looked in my mirror after pulling away at a traffic light and noticed a plume of white smoke.
I initially thought it might be an oil ring or a valve, so I turned around and went back home. The smoking was at its worst when I accelerated from a slow speed and then it spluttered once or twice too.
Then I remembered that I topped up the oil a few days back and after filling it to what I thought was enough I threw the last few mills of oil in the bike so I wouldn't have an almost empty bottle standing around.
Would overfilling cause the smoke and when the bike cools down where can I tap some oil of?
