My son has a 2005 KTM 525 EXC. He's now considering to swap it for a 2007 KTM 300 XCW 2 stroke.
He likes riding around the farm and doing some technical stuff, more that the long, open road thing. The 525 is not too well suited for playing around with in the mountains and the 300 will probably do this better.
That said, I have absolutely no knowledge about 2 strokes. Accepting that both bikes are in similar condition, would this be a wise swap, or not?
