Who here on the forum have used them before to repair their riding kit? One of my BMW Savanna jacket buttons broke off, and I also have a pair of gloves that needs fixing.

Are they reliable and not too expensive? Any feedback?

Zip on BMW airflow - decent repair and cost was low - couple of other repairs done on pants.

Will use them again if that is any indicator.

I have used them before to repair a BMW Ralley jacket and was happy with the work done.

Don't know them.

I have used Vivante, also in Menlyn, at Menlyn Honda (2nd floor).

They fixed my Savannah last week - new zip and had to remove all the buttons as the studs when though a section of the zip. Was replaced with new ones without the little rubber cap, but working fine.

My experience is a bit on the fence. MX boots soles replaced and both sets I had to add screws and glue to get it to hold on. Price was not cheap.

Many good reports about them.

I have a pair of Alpinestars tech 7 boots that have a chunk gone of the sole, it is in the replace-able part, wonder how successfully they can replace that part of the sole? Anyone had that done before?

They fitted new soles to a pair of gaerne's. Its holding and i can't complain.

They have fixed a lot of riding gear for me - from gloves to mx pants to bags

Stay away - makes promises they cant keep and the workmanship is below par.

Was a jacket.

Promised to have it ready by an agreed date. When i went to collect (out of my way), not ready and did not bother to inform me beforehand. Just laughed sheepishly when i expressed my displeasure.

Zip to be fitted and velcro strips replaced - shoddy workmanship resulted in the strips coming loose a little later.

I will not use them again but will try Vivante next time.

Used Vivante mostly on clothing repairs - never had to return something to fix.

Then used Dubun for tip of boot new covers and add material for gear lever. They fitted non standard tips, protruding too far, and looks bling. I painted them black just to not feel embarrassed in public. The chrome bling is coming through due to scratches but it is better than the full tip being chrome.
The material added for gear lever protection is also coming loose.

I won't be using Dubun again although I wait longer for Vivante to complete fixes

I have used both Vivante (new zip in airflow jacket) and Dubun in Waterglen (new zip in EasyOvers). Excellent service from both.

Okay, so they fixed my jacket button, but that was a easy fix. I get my gloves back on Thursday, will report back on the quality of their workmanship. Thanks guys.

So I collected my gloves. The workmanship is okay, not great, but they did the job and it looks like they will last a while longer. They replaced the velcro at the wrists of the gloves. Keep in mind I am a perfectionist

I wasn't happy with work done on both Garnae and Alpinestars boots ... and they are quite expensive

Not Dubun in Menlyn, but in Zambezi.

Great work on a sole repair( glues and screws) on a pair of TCX boots.

Price was great too!!!
