When I was young I rode a bit with my Father but on small 2 strokes.  Now that I'm old I have had the chance to ride with my son. Only problem he lives in JHB and I live in East London so it's not often. But it is a special feeling and I love it
My biggest worry in life, is that if I die before my Wife, she will sell my biking gear based on the prices that I told her I had paid for them.

My dad no longer rides
He quit 25years ago for several reasons

He will occasionally take my bike for a spin though. It appears he hasn't forgotten how to ride because he still looks pretty capable

my dad has always owned a bike, currently he has the bmw 1200gs adventure, he watched the long way down and around, so think he modeled his bike to those specs. he went on a trip to namibia botswane ect with a 3 bmw 1200 riders, only 2 returned, the one guy t-boned a donkey @ 80km/h in the dark in botswana, since then he has not been on a long trip

Rode with my father every now and then... He borned the love for two wheels in me and got a bike as soon as I could... Since had a good few LEKKER rides and wont trade those days for anything. He passed away on the 14th Sep 2010 of a sudden heart attack:(, still went for a ride the morning of his passing... On the Thursday before he just bought a new bike, a Yamaha 1100 Dragstar (always dreamed of buying one). Will forever treasure the few rides we took together! BEST DAD EVER!

That's right, PW50 and a XT600. This photo was taken in 1990ish in Stellenbosch on our way to go and play in the mountains...
