We did most of that trip 3 years ago, We absolutely love Nam, Great photo's and I loved the "silver" grass, only seen in Namibia, amazing. Tx for sharing.
What time of year did you go, the weather conditions and day time temperatures?
Bum in the saddle, always.

Shanti, it is a beautiful RR for many, many reasons not the least of which is that you have managed to portray something about the essence of adventure riding.

Went last month , the weather was cold in the evenings , bit chilly in early mornings south of the tropic of Capricorn - the further north you head the better the weather gets - I had a few swims in rock pools and rivers if that is anything to go on . Round Swakop and near the coast there is a 'mist ' in the late evenings and early mornings .
Ave temp I would say was 24 C - this is just a guess - Strange thing was when I reached the SA border it started to rain - reminded me of when I was backpacking and was hitching up to Scotland - as soon as I reached the welcome to Scotland sign it started to rain .... I guess rain likes to hang out near border points
