My Quest 2 suffers the same fate - I have several maps loaded into mine - Europe, Southern Africa, Eastern Africa and Australian and have no problems anywhere else in the world with it, except in RSA but this was only after the upgrade to V1.5 - it worked perfectly on V1.0 Will be interested to...
