I honestly don't have the hours, I've put 15 hours on her, if its that much - i bought her February 2013. I really cant remember how many the previous owner put on her - but it couldn't be a lot, cause she runs like a clock. I've also only used Motul 710, previous owner as well.

Ha ha, maar jy ry dan self ook 'n BMW  ;) Ek hou van die KTM's, maar dit kom maar weer neer op wat ek kan bekostig, watse deal ek vir my GasGas kry. Tans loop die R1200GS nog voor (al kry ek minder vir my GasGas, kom die GS saam baie ektras - top box, side panniers, crash bars, spotlights...

Mid-range bike? What would you define as a mid-range bike? And also, is there someone here who would be able to give me some tips on what to look out for on a 2nd hand GS?  :peepwall:

I'm almost 80% sure it'll suit my riding style - I'm just a little "scared" of it though? Its a big bike, and I know that thing will kill me if I don't treat her with respect... I have driven a few road bikes before (never my own, usually a friends' who told me to take it for a spin) so at least...
