I discovered yesterday that my 2010 1200 GS is leaking fuel at the top of the fuel pump. It seems like a common problem. As per BMW's system the recall on this was done on my bike. What do I do now? The dealer wants to sell me a new pump at R 5990. Any advice from you guys?

I have an Adventure Screen on my "normal" GS. I am struggling to get it quiet. I keeps on making a rattling sound almost like the 2 screw knobs are not fastened tight enough. I have tried to fastened it more,but I am scared to turn it too far en then break the knobs. Any suggestions on this?
