1150Adv Rear shock replacement

have a 1150 adv with 65000 wonderful k's on the clock. I am experiencing that my rear shock is pap.
Seeing that it can not be serviced, because it is sealed, got quotes foe a new one, but could just as well replace the bike for the amounts that was quoted.

Is there anyone out there that have had simular experience, and what can I do?

Any solutions please!!!!!
