I just returned form a short ride in the magalies area this morning. After letting the tyres down to a reasonable pressure and then pumping them up again once I got back onto tar I have the following question.
Does anyone know of a schrader valve stem with a 90 degree elbow that I could use on my GS as a permanent fitting? Getting access to the valve to inflate and deflate is a real b@ll@che with the stem being straight.
I have seen this type of bent stem on truck tyres but the are very long.
I have one of those elbow adaptors that you can screw onto the valve to inflate and deflate but that is not meant to be permanant. It is also quite heavy and at high speed could put stress on a valve stem not designed to take the load.
Tyre professionals please help!!
