Hi All
Took a long break from riding with new hobbies and kids. Bike has been parked for close to 5 years. Did not want to get rid of it.
I have 2005 950 Adventure with about 40 000km on.
I need some advice. Bike has been parked for nearly 5 years - yes terrible but lets move past that.
Obviously I need to have it looked at but what to do. Take it to someone that can check everything and what potential problems do I need to ask them to check. Feeling confused what the standing could have done to it.
Tires? I have some mitas on there that has had air in them that seems to be good but do i need to replace them also? Shocks Oil etc? Coolant? Obviously battery and petrol needs to come out.
Any suggestions of someone that can do this a good shop? I am based in Somerset West.
