Wanted to go for a ride this morning and when I got to the bike it was dead as a mossie. Not a light coming on. Last ride was about 3 days ago. Motobatt is 1 month old. Put the charger on and it was still dead. Left it for 2 hours and still dead. Openend battery box and saw that negative wire that runs to spotlight is chafed through and touching the body. I presume that is why the battery ran flat. Fixed it but the bike still do not want to light up. I have now charged it for another 2 hours and nothing. I have checked the fuses and all is fine. Is there other fuses than in the little top box ?
Should I jump start ?
