A buddy and I are collecting his bikes (2 x F800GS) in Ndola and riding down via Botswana, Namibia to CT over 17 days. Scanned lots of earlier threads on possible routes/sites and finding great tips. Would welcome any up to date guidance especially on
1) alternative routes to Vic Falls avoiding Lusaka
2) riding from Kazungula/Kasane via Savuti/Chobe to Mababe and Maun. Is it possible on bikes and are there adequate fuel stops?
3) pre booking campsites and game park trips - is it really necessary?
