Hi there
These days you see an adventure bike around every corner and lets be honest - as for any other hobby - most of us spend allot of money adding accessories that we hardly end up using.
We have all been sitting in the car at a red robot when your dream mat-black 990adv (or any other boney of your dreams) pulls in next to you and you only realize the light is green when the oak behind you starts lying on his hooter.

OK, so lets get to the point.
I've been on a Africa Twin a couple of times and personally i think its quite a tank of a bike (wet weight of 230ks) but they are a pleasure to ride and you'll go a long way to find a bike that has the same adventure-WOW-factor as a AT with panniers/GPS and some mud and dust. Not even talking about the reliability side of things

Unfortunately our friends in the east decided to discontinue these wonderful machines

Anyone know true AT enthusiast in the Cape Town area?
Is there a AT riders club & when is their next get together?

cheers
LL
