Hi guys. I recently discovered something very worrying about my helmet. If I press straight up on the chin bar of the helmet it exposes quite a decent amount of my face. I did a highly scientific test involving lying face-down on the floor, and my face could definitely make contact with the earth if I were to be in a crash.
I have attached a photo because a picture says a thousand words. I know it's hard to see where the fur ends and the face begins, but you can clearly see about half my face is sticking out.
The helmet is a medium and is not very loose at all. It could be a bit tighter but I doubt I would fit in a small. I tried a small helmet today and I would need grease and the jaws of life to get my head in there. This helmet is only a year old and I'm very unhappy at the prospect of having to replace it so soon.
Does anybody else have this problem? Any advice?
