I have previously always used Mapsource to create my routes in the past, but I have now loaded BaseCamp and am having a few problems creating my route.
In Mapsource I have it setup to use auto routing, so I can follow roads etc, then when I get to a place on a map where there are no roads I select "use direct route" and simply click along in the direction of where I want to go, each click adds a waypoint and then when I get back onto a road I just select "auto routing" option again and carry on.
In BaseCamp I cannot find a setting where I can switch between the "auto routing" option and the "use direct route" option while I am still in the create route command.....
Hope this makes sense, anybody know how to do this or where the setting is hidden .
