I beached my S10 this morning. I couldn't go forward so had to reverse. I waited for the ineveitable fall as I rolled backwards, but fortunately the didn't happen.
I didn't want to go over this hump as I was worried I'd break the bash plate. Its a vulnerable part of the bike, being attached to the engine directly.
I have two questions.
Can the bash plate hold the bike's weight when beached like that?
Should I even attempting this on such a big bike? I know its easy enough to. Clear it on my CRF, but worry I'm asking too much of the S10 and myself.
