Best 'Big Trailie' for SA

I am a Brit recently moved to SA wanting to buy a big trailie..........I am selling my WR450 in the UK and looking for something better suited for long distances (day trips).  The WR450 is great of road but anything more than an hour on road kills my fat backside.  I have previously owned a BMW1150GS which I loved, but wanted something a bit more agile.

I would appraciate your thoughts given I am not familiar with the SA terrain.  I wil be riding out of Joburg.  Keen to get right off road to out of the way places.
