Best options for lowering my KLR650

Hi, I just got my first bike a KLR 650 2005 model and I'm in Pta and I need to lower my bike. I was wonder which option is best between a lowering kit(any recommendations on were to buy) or shaving the seat(any recommendations on were to do it)?
What I have already done:
My rear shock absorber is set on spring position 1
Rebound Damping is also on position 1.
My weight is 57.2Kg and height is 166cm and I short about 2-3 cm.
