For all the wise and experienced dogs, shed some light on this for me please. I need some guidance on how to obtain registration papers for a bike that has got none at the moment.
I am looking at buying a bike that the current owner says has got no papers. He himself bought it about 2 years ago, but never had papers for it. The VIN # has been checked by current owner but apparently there's no trace of it on eNATIS's database.
Although there's quite a process involved, I know one can register a vehicle as imported, or even as built up by using various parts. I suppose I can also try and trace all the previous owners and try and strike some kind of deal with them. This still leaves me with the gap in eNATIS's database.
Has anyone out there been through a similar process? I need some words of wisdom please..!
