BMW 1200GS vs KTM 990 ADV

Need help.

I'm the proud owner of a GS and I really love here to bits.

Now the problem. My brother inlaw just got his brand new KTM 990. Holy cr@p. What a bike. Feels like you can go do the Dakar on it.

I need a really good reason not to trade my GS. Please any reasons would help.
