Boots is one item that I think is a must have and depending on budget one tries to buy the best . I wear a pair of ALPINESTARS Corasol boots , they do the job for me , but always a but ! The boot is well insulated making them quite warm in summer , wearing them on tour is a done thing , But when doing local rides they feel a bit over the top . Yes I know AGATT , This has me thinking of something more suited . On my radar is the A STAR CRX DRYSTAR. problem is they quite expensive for a "hiking boot" on steroids .
I am led to believe they super comfortable and one can wear them all day long , and still have protection on ones feet .
