Braided brake hoses....or not - R1100GS

Hi guys

One of my brake hoses decided to retire on Saturday afternoon, after 18 years of service (fortunately this happend right in front of the house!). I have decided to replace all my brake hoses with braided ones. Anyone here with braided hoses on their GS? Will the braking system be able to handle braided hoses or should I rather fit rubber ones?
