Im thinking of buying a plastic to play with on weekends. Problem is that I am really a novice in this field.
Was thinking of 250 up to 450. No specific brand preferences. At this stage my requirement is really just to play, nothing serious. I dont want to spend more than R35k.
I have a few questions and any advise will be appreciated:
1) What must I look out for when buying a 2nd hand plastic?
2) Can I ask for a ride and what do I listen/look for?
3) Are there any specific brands/models which I should avoid/prefer?
4) For a guy of my weight (90kg’s), will a 250 have enough oemf?
5) A friend knows someone that wants to sell a KTM450SX (2004 model). Any specific problems regarding this bike that I should maybe be aware off? Or anything specific that I should look out for?
