Hi Guys,
I am planning a section of a ride from Hondeklipbaai to Orange River Lodge. I have a section of the Richtersveld already earmarked from the R382 heading North, but I wanted to know if anyone has gone up past Hondeklipbaai tight on that coast up to Port Nolloth. We are coming up the groenrivier stretch on the coast to Hondeklipbaai, which I have done before so I am aware there are long stretches of deep sand, but wondered how the section or terrain north on that coast above Hondeklipbaai is. I am bearing in mind that we still have the stretch through Richtersveld to complete that same day so need to get through it within a 3-4 hours. I can't seem to tell on Google Maps if it is sand tracks, how deep etc… or whether its just a straight gravel road we can just gap it on.
If anyone has been up there please I'd appreciated some information for the team.
