I'm used to XT660R, X Country 650's, now after a year of no riding I can buy a Suzuki DL650 good price. Question - (PLEASE ONEST ANSWERS FROM EXPERIENCE) would it be any good on gravel roads, like what we did in Tankwa karoo bash ext.
I took it for a ride and must say on tar it is very quick and exellent wind protectoin for legs and bit less for head. Brakes are poor especially at rear, but lots of space all round. I already know it is better for long distances, but my concern is gravel roads wich I generally prefer as wil dogs normally do.
The bike is 2007 model 12 000km on with bash plate, crash bars and top box for R50 000 (very neat)
