Hey guys, i am absolutely dumbstruck with my scoot. ???
Its a 2009 F800GS with about 52000 km's on. What shes doing is cutting out at 6000 rpm and the best way to explain it is as follows: when i accelerate quickly, i.e. Gun it a bit she easily revs up to red line, but when i accelerate slowly she starts cutting out at 6000 rpm.....this is only in 1st and 2nd, from 3rd there is now way i can get past 6000 rpm. She doesn't cut out and shut down completely - its more a jerk.
Not that i do this often but its what I've picked up while trying to problem solve. This is what we've done so far as a process of elimination: replaced spark plugs, replaced coils, replaced entire fuel system (fuel pump with filter and injection system), replaced pick up sensor, replaced cam sensor, replaced TP sensor, no fault on GS911, reset with GS911, done major service.
Obviously something is not kosher, your insight would be appreciated.
