GSA battery advice

Good evening

Seems that my 2009 1200GSA developing an allergy to it's current battery, thus I need to replace the battery

I was wondering if there are good alternatives to the BMW battery?

Also read about the gel type batteries, but seems there are issues with them when going off road

What are your experiences, and suggestions?
