Love this forum - loads of info. Located in Benoni. New to bikes, got myself a used 2007 F 650 GS in Jan this year (2010). Bike is like new.
Improving my skill at every opportunity. I have figured out a few nice two to three hour rides out of Benoni which are 50/50 tar and dirt roads. Basically plot them on Map Source software and Google Earth and then go ride them; - have mounted my Garmin Quest to the bike, works very well.
Thus far I have gotten myself fairly decent ATGATT which is also suitable for trail riding and have replaced the standard windscreen.
Anyone on the East Rand also doing short tar/dirt combo rides that would like to join sometime? I'm still learning, so am taking it easy out there.
