Just a quick hello. I'm a first time motorbike owner/rider and just had a new F800GS delivered yesterday. While I have no reference of other bikes, I am absolutely loving it. It's scary yet gentle at the same time. Having only driven cars, the bike's acceleration is heart racing and unfamiliar. My gear shifts are robotic and deliberate, but I'm sure the two of us will gel in no time. My wife and the bike on the other hand may take a while longer to acquaint themselves.
