I have a KLR 650 with 161000kms wanting to buy a 1200GS Adventure. The old KLR is heading for retirement and needs a new sporty replacement. I think the GS will do just fine. From the experienced GS rides is there anything I should know before I buy one, can anyone give me a rough estimate in rand value what I'm looking at for services, brake pads and tires please ..?
