Insuring an off road bike

Hi Guys

My current insurer wont even look at insuring my quad, is there away around this, seems they might need to be NATIS registered?

If anyone could please shed some light on the subject id be most grateful, value of quad is approximately 30k and its obviously not road legal and nor is it financed.
