So I have my friends KLR 250 living with me at the moment. The bike was brought down from Durban where, incidentally, it was running perfectly. It starts on the first or second kick and idles perfectly. When you reach sort of 1/4 throttle it bogs and dies. What gives? Does it need to be re jetted for altitude or can it can be tuned as is? ??? (It uses the Kehein CVK carb.)
