R 27 000 neg.
Owned by a fully qualified motorcycle mechanic with 8 years served under Kawasaki dealership and a KLR lover/ enthusiast, so this bike has been well looked after and timeously serviced.
mileage nearing 75 000km, however, consider the following;
Due to a left hand crank bearing failure at 45000 km, the motor was overhauled with a complete new crank/conrod assembly,crank bearings, new cam chain, rings and gaskets. All genuine parts. This means the important bits in the motor have only done 30000km. Cylinder and piston were still in pristine condition upon inspection.
Doohickey fitted at P.D.I
Motul 5100 full synthetic oil used since 1000km until present.

Happy Trails radiator guard
Renthal taperwall handle bars with risers
Lighter socket power point and direct-to-battery power points neatly installed
Stainless steel braided brake hoses both front and rear
Shock converted to external reservoir type with compression adjuster
Smaller necessary mods done:
Footrest bracket bolts upgraded to larger/stronger
Subframe bolts upgraded to larger/stronger
Starter relay circuit bypassed to prevent cut-outs (as all KLR enthusiasts will know)
Swing arm, linkage and suspension fully serviced in Dec 2010.
