I'm upset :eek7:
Was not watching the wear on my back disc pads - only realised how buggered they were when it was too late (metal against metal)! Wanted to have them skimmed but everywhere I called from DNA - Motorcycle Magic said that bike discs can't be skimmed!! Is this True? The new one cost an arm and a leg. One of the gents merely recommended I replace the pads.
Foolishly I I took this advise and replaced the pads for a wopping R250 - I now see the new pads are almost finished on the one side whilst the other side still looks new!
So the questions are.......can you get cheaper break pads that work? Can you get a cheaper disk other than going through the dealer?
What are the best pads to use?
