KLR noise sounding as if coming from top

My KLR has a mechanical noise coming from the top of the motor .Could it be the camshaft chain ?  Am I just being paranoid or should I have this checked out . This is my first bike and I had it for three weeks now . The previous owner , also on the forum , said it was served by The Roost .

Any help by KLR fundis would be appreciated
