Finally I am finished working at the Coega harbour where no bikes were allowed on site, for Health & Safety reasons, and at last after 2 years I can get back to commuting by bike.
So having commuted in the UK through a few winters I accumulated two sets of wet-weathers with thermal liners that will keep an eskimo happy for months, 1 set of leathers and one Hein Gericke Tuareg suite. The first lot are out of the question for 80% of the year in SA as you will sweat like a hog rider. The HG suite wont work as I don't want to hassle with changing at work etc.
With commuting I always use full ATTGATT, not negotiable. The boots, jacket, helmet and gloves are no problem but in this heat I really dread using my wet-weathers as over trousers.
So, are there any mesh over trousers availbale in SA and where can I get them. More specifically are there any in PE?
